Mark donated a photo shoot to one person at the Rainshadow Booth last year's fair. I won! He came to our beach property on a cold day in March when our grandchildren were visiting from out of state. I brought boots for the kids to facilitate our looking for crabs. The kids got into the action, Mark got the photos, and then it snowed! He arranged a second shooting indoors. He spent a lot of time with us. For best results, follow Mark's advice for setting and attire. All photos are great!

Juan and I got married on Valentine's Day and initially had trouble finding a photographer for this day. When we asked Mark, he didn't hesitate. He was a breath of fresh air and easy to work with from beginning to end. We couldn't have been happier with our wedding pictures, and were exactly what I had envisioned. We even had the chance to meet with Mark before the wedding and have some portraits taken. I would recommend him to anyone! Mark, thank you so much. You made this experience priceless.

We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. From the portraits to action shots to candids at the reception, Mark captured every moment beautifully. Our wedding was in Wisconsin, at our family farm, and Mark spent time beforehand carefully choosing the best spots for shots. He made sure he got photos that showed off the surroundings as well as the people, which meant so much to us. Mark truly listened to what we wanted in our photos, making it a pleasure to work with him!

Thank you Mark for such fantastic wedding pictures! And for such easy and agreeable cooperation. We planned the entire wedding at Roche Harbor from Stockholm, and working things out with Mark went as smoothly as we could have hoped. All the planning and even post-wedding photography activities were done remotely without a single problem. Mark has fully embraced digital photography and the result was great! We really enjoyed meeting and working with Mark! Thanks again, Catherine & Lars-Åke

Over the years, we have had experience with a variety of photographers taking our family photo. What pleased me so much this year was Mark's ability to capture the individual personalities of the girls so well. I look forward to charting their development over the years with Mark's help.

Our wedding photography ended up being the one thing I didn't have to worry about at all. We had many challenges but none of that stopped Mark from getting great pictures, and all with a smile on his face. We just had a great time with him and absolutely loved his work. Thank you so much Mark for making it an experience that I will never forget. Having a photographer at our wedding that acted more like a friend was that little touch that we needed.

Great pictures and great session. You got us to look "unposed" in that great natural setting that led us to have a house on SJI. One of the pictures is hanging in our dining room and reminds us, every day, that we need to get back to our island getaway. Same with friends who see it. So... Thanks Mark & Donna!!!

Mark generously donated a photo session for our animal shelter auction. Our family was the successful bidder and he really had a challenge with the 3 1/2 month-old and 3 1/2 year-old Golden Retriever plus their owner. He was extremely patient, taking lots of shots during challenging weather conditions. The results were wonderful and we hope to do it again.

I have worked with Mark for past couple of years to create a photograph that as as art gallery owner, I can use for email and for my website needs. Mark strives to capture a person in their environment. He has a way of allowing people to relax and reveal themselves to his camera. I find Mark an comfortable person to work with and I look forward to my annual visit. |

The photos that Mark took of our family in Central Park are still getting rave reviews from all who have seen them, including professional artists. The setting in the trees is not a commonly used spot in NY, but Mark has an artist's eye and he saw the light, the composition - the moment. He captured it and us with remarkable grace, calmness and humor. This photo of my family will be forever one of my most special treasures.
