About Rainshadow Photographics
Rainshadow Photographics, led by Mark
Gardner, is a full-service provider of studio and location photography
for families, individuals, artists, businesses and
publications.
We combine passion, artistic expression and technical
skill to create great images for our clients.
Our team includes additional photographers and
graphic designers to best serve our clients needs.
We're based in the San Juan Islands in Washington State, where
we have a fully equipped studio for photographing products, artwork and
people. We also shoot on location in our backyard or around the world. We have a large library of stock images of the
San Juan Islands, travel, lifestyle and a variety of conceptual themes for
both editorial and commercial use. And finally, we provide a full
range of digital imaging services from creation to
production.
After a successful career in sales &
marketing and over 15 years as a passionate amateur
photographer, Mark Gardner turned to photography
full time in 2006. He's provided images for a
myriad of clients ranging from family portraits to
location images for resorts. He's published a
coffee-table book of images of the San Juan Islands
in Washington state, and a how-to book on outdoor
and travel photography with Art Wolfe. Mark's
fine art prints are also available through this
website and
Island Studios in
Friday Harbor, WA.
